Preparations are in full swing for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action-packed film, “Jawan,” directed by Atlee. The movie, which has received a U/A certificate from the Censor board, is set to release on September 7. While the trailer might hit the screens just a week before the release date, the buzz around the film is already soaring, evident from its impressive advance booking numbers.
In the USA, ticket booking for “Jawan” commenced about a month ago at select locations. With only 16 days left until the film’s release, the advance booking figures are hinting at a promising opening. As per reports, nearly 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the film’s opening day in the US. To be precise, the count stands at 9700 tickets. A substantial number of screenings, around 1600, are lined up for “Jawan” across more than 350 locations in America.
The latest statistics indicate that approximately 9700 tickets have been snagged for the first day of the film, projecting an estimated collection of around 1.2 crore rupees (approximately $151,000). Out of this total, 9200 tickets have been secured for the Hindi version, while 2668 tickets have been grabbed for IMAX showings.
Fans have lauded the remarkable promotional strategy for “Jawan,” which initiated the advance booking several weeks before the release. A Twitter user expressed admiration, stating, “To be honest, the best distributor for overseas distribution is setting a new standard. Their exceptional strategies for #Jawan, such as opening advance booking 3–4 weeks ahead of release and providing promotional materials to overseas theaters, are truly brilliant.
